Who is Jehovah?

Why is it important to use God’s personal name?
Jesus taught us to sanctify His name. Matt 6:9
“Everyone that calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”

To make a reply to the Devil as it states in Prov 27:11
To whom do you pray, and in whose name do you pray?
I pray to Jehovah, the Father in Jesus name. John 16:23
What are some of the things you can pray about?
Matt. 6:9-13 The Lord’s prayer and 1 John 5:14 “anything we ask ACCORDING to His will…”
Why might Jehovah not listen to a person’s prayers?
Jehovah is too holy to listen to wicked people. Mic. 3:4
Jehovah listens to the righteous - 1Pet. 3:12
Who is Jesus Christ?
Matt. 16:16 - “Simon Peter answered:’You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Why did Jesus come to earth?
To give his life as a ransom sacrifice. (Matt. 20:28)
To declare the good news of the Kingdom. (Luke 4:43)
How can I show thankfulness for Jesus’ sacrifice?
2 Cor. 5:15 - To live for him and not for myself anymore as stated in the scripture.
What authority does Jesus have?
All authority in heaven and in earth - Matt 28:18
How many people will rule with Jesus in heaven?
144,000 (12k from every tribe) Rev. 14:1
What hope is there for those who have died?
Resurrection.
“There will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.” - Acts 24:15
What is the condition of the dead?
Ecc. 9:5 - The dead know nothing at all.
Why do people die?
We all have the same ‘dent’ as Adam when he sinned.
Romans 5:12 -“Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin…”
How can I prove that Satan’s accusations are false?
By ‘serving God with a complete heart’ -1 Chron. 28:9
and like Job - by having and keeping integrity - JOb 27:5
Of what Satan accused Jehovah and those who worship him?
At the garden of eden, he said that Jehovah is keeping something from humans. Gen 3: 2-5
At Job 2:4 he said that humans only worship him because of the ‘protective hedge’ that Jehovah had around him
