Start at age 50 and continue until 75. Colonoscopy every 10 years. Sigmoidoscopy every 5 years + FOBT every 3 years. FOBT yearly.

Pathology
A
90-95% adenocarcinoma. Dukes grading 1 is the best to 3 the worst. Poor prognosis: adhesion to adjacent structures, perforation, complete obstruction, aneuploidy, high % in S phase, deletion of 18q.
