The piece uses a group of solo instruments known as the concertino, which includes the flute, violin and harpsichord
There is also a string orchestra, which makes up the ripieno
The bass/cello and harpsichord sometimes act as a basso continuo, playing the bassline while the harpsichord realises the chords on top
The harpsichord part is virtuosic
