10. BAT/EPU ON, check DC params
11. GENE ON, check DC params
If smoke does not clear:
EMER SW OFF
DCT/BAT OFF
BAT/EPU OFF
GENE OFF
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
If smoke clears and DC params correct:
12. AVIONICS ON
13. Minimum required consumers ON, one by one.
If smoke clears and DC params not correct:
12. GENE OFF
13. Apply case A of GENE DC gen offline proc
Land as soon as POSSIBLE
VEMD screen failures
One screen failure, OFF[1 or 2]
Both screens fail:
IAS kt = 100 kt at 0 Hp - (2kt/1000ft)
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
Carry out no hover landing
NR failure
Maintain TRQ > 10%
Read NR using N2 pointer
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
N2 failure
Check in normal operating range with TRQ > 0
Continue flight
N2 can be read using [SELECT] [+] to display parameter
Engine oil temp over limit
Airspeed 80 kts
Temp decreases: Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
Check oil cooler operation
Temp does not decrease: Land as soon as POSSIBLE
Low engine oil pressure
Check ENG P light, if illuminated, land IMMEDIATELY.
If not, press CWP light test. If ENG P illuminates, Land as soon as PRACTICABLE, otherwise IMMEDIATELY
Loss of N1 indicator
Comply with max TRQ and TOT of 842C
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
Torquemeter failure
Comply with N1 limits in table
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
N1 and TRQ failure
Comply with N1 limits in table and TOT of 842C
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
TOT indicator failure
Comply with N1 and TRQ limitations.
Switch off heating and demisting.
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
Do not start engine.
Generator overvoltage
Red underline (> 31.5 V)
GEN OFF
CWP monitor for BATT TEMP
GENE procedure case A apply:
- Unnecessary equipment off.
- U bus on VEMD: Monitor
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
Yellow underline (29.0 V - 31.5 V)
Monitor U/BUS voltage
Continue flight
DC bus undervoltage
GENE procedure apply.
U/BUS voltage > 26.0 V, continue flight, otherwise:
GENE procedure case A apply.
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
Generator current over limit (I/GEN)
(Red underline is flashing)
Unnecessary equipment OFF
Continue flight.
Red GOV light
Major governor failure
1. Check flight params
Emergency mode (EBCAU) self-engages. Yellow GOV illuminates.
2. Avoid abrupt collective changes
N1 > 80% Hp < 20k
N1> 85% Hp >= 20k
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
3. Powered approach avoiding steep angle.
4. Touch down shut down, slowly lower collective. Engine starting selector OFF.
Yellow GOV light continuously on
Minor FADEC failure
1. Avoid abrupt collective changes
2. Maintain below VNE power off
Land as soon as PRACTICABLE
On ground, do not start engine.
Flashing at idle or during start/shutdown:
Abort start.
Cancel autorotation training.
