B.3.4 cloud Flashcards
Hybrid cloud
having both a public and private cloud that can be accessed by users in different places
community cloud
Having shared information and servers between multiple organizations, and can be accessed by all users in the organizations.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
processing, storage, network, and virtualized environments.
This allows for better expansion because it just needs an internet connection
PaaS
Build applications and you won’t need to worry about having adequate hardware that is ready to be put on the cloud
Saas
Off device and allows for it to be accessed through a web browser taking load off devices plus storage and updates will be done for you

Virtual hard disk
What does a VM do
Install multiple Operating Systems on a single physical machine
HyperVisor 1
Runs directly on the host machine without an operating system between them
HyperVisor 2
Runs on the host machine with a OS between the VM and the hardware
Virtual container
Runs a single application that takes up less computing space. And is a faster boot
