A
Because if not then dead bodies and animals will cover all the soil up and no minerals or ions will be produced therefore plants will die causing everyone to die aswell.

A
Plants take in to make photosynthesis which creates glucose for them

Because it is a way of giving every organism waterand without it we would all die because every living thing needs water to survive
