High specification computers that are capable of performing complex calculations at high speeds.
Embedded Systems
Micro computers which use the input from another device to perform/output other calculations.
MIDI Interface
‘Musical Instrument Digital Interface’ used to connect musical instruments to a computer, files saved as a set of instructions instead of an audio file.
Graphics Tablet
A flat pad with pressure sensors in which a stylus is used for freehand drawing.
Barcode
Represents a code for a certain product. Each vertical line of differing thicknesses represents a different number.
Hard Drive
Uses a series of spinning metal disks to burn data for ‘permanent’ storage.
