  6. Typhoid , paratyphoid (enteric fever)
  7. Traveller’s diarrhoea
  8. Prevention and treatment of pertussis

A

Oral, 500mg once on day ONE, then give 500mg once daily for 2 days or 250mg once daily for 4 days.

The higher dose can be given for >3 days, depending on the infection.
