What is Vata Dosa?

A

Governs how the nerves response to nutrition . How the nervous system correlates with the brain.
People who are Vata dosa finds challenging to gain weight, very little energy reserved . Tired easily when imbalanced.
Need to get sufficient rest.
Controls movement - movement of the body and musckeleskeletal system

Painful menstruation.

Vata dosa leads to other Dosas.
Most diseases are Vata based. When Vata is in balance Pita and Kapha are also in balance as well.

What is Pitta Dosa?

A

Pitta transform food into nourishment to the body , that again leads to systemic health and balance

When Pitta is in balance, the person is driven, courageous.
When out of balance - anger, reflux in the body.

Fire element, doesn’t do well with fire food. Lighter meal. Chewing food well.

What is Kapha

A

Kapha people finds hard to lost weight , tend to be slow eaters and slow digestions. Speaks slow . Calm and affectionate . When out of balance can become lazy and stubborn .
When imbalance , may show up as cold , allergies or athma.
