Q

What are the names of the offspring vessels of the THoracoacromial Trunk? Their supplementations?

A

APCD:
Acromial ARtery- Supplies region of acromion process
Pectoral ARteries- Pierce costocoracoid membrane, supply pecs
Clavicular ARtery- Small branch, goes to subclavius muscle
Deltoid ARtery- Enters deltopec triangle and travels distally with cephalic vein

Q

Scapular Circumflex: Pathway

A

Goes around scapula, between the scapula and teres muscles and gives off branches. Branches pass through the triangular space. Ends deep to infraspinatus muscle

Q

Scapular Circumflex: Arterial Junction

A

Joins with suprascapular artery which forms a collateral route for blood from the 1st part of the subclavian artery to the 3rd part of the axillary artery
