When you cut a shot in half, on either side of the line the frames are adjacent
Has two white equals marks to say there is no media missing

It’ll move everything down or upstream
How do you make a change to a transition effect in the timeline?

Simple nest- use arrows on timeline→ advantage is you only see the nested clips of that clip
