What is registration?
Device is associated with the autopilot service
What is needed for registration?
A windows 10 device

Where can registered devices be found?
Endpoint Admin Manager
Devices-> Enrollment -> Windows Enrollment -> Devices button
Who can register devices?
OEM (original equipment manufacturer) must have customer consent
Partner (must be part of CSP)
Automatic (hash is pulled from device
Manual (hash must be obtained from the machine)
What is a deployment profile?
Profile determining how an autopilot device is set-up
Where can profiles be created
Devices -> Windows -> Autopilot deployment profiles -> New
What is the first thing when creating a deployment profile?
Give it a name
Give a description
Select whether all devices are to be converted to autopilot
What must be enabled when hiding change account options?
Company branding
What are the two deployment modes?
User-driven
Self-deploying
What is the difference between the two deployment modes
User-driven is associated to the user
self-deploying is only associated to the machine no user creds are needed
What is White Glove OOBE?
Allows the IT department to provision certain applications
The user will have a quicker autopilot experience
Used for Execs
How do users or groups get assigned?
Using the Assignment tab during the creation process
