clinical use: Hypertensive urgency (limited situations),
ADHD, Tourette syndrome, symptom control
in opioid withdrawal

Adverse effects: CNS depression, bradycardia, hypotension,
respiratory depression, miosis, rebound
hypertension with abrupt cessation
