Q

What are the Tips in writing a Good Autobiography

A

1.Brainstorm–begin in compiling any life experiences you suspect might be compelling to the readers

  1. Craft an outline–organize a narrative around the most compelling episodes from your brainstorm
  2. Research–do some research to help you recall contextual information from the period you are writing about
  3. Write your first draft
  4. Take a break –take a day off when your first draft is complete
  5. Proofread–look for grammar mistakes; identify weak moments in the narrative and develop constructive improvements; consider what you’d look for if reading about another person’s life and apply it your autobiography
  6. Write your next draft –write a second draft based on the notes you’ve given yourself; show it to trusted friends
  7. Refine–follow new revisions with new reads from people, you will refine your writing skills; There are no masterpieces full-borne into the world in a single draft.
