Q
what is meant by the innate adaptive immunity
A
- The innate system works immediately when a problem has been detected.
- For example when a bacteria gets past the epithelial cells a series of cells becomes activated. Myeloid cells, neutrophils mast cells, phagocytic cells and cells which will recognise the microbes to t-cells
- There are secretary components such as cytokines which complement natural antibodies
- The production of cytokines and the involvement in these myeloid cells cause inflammation
- There will be a dispersants in response to the infection protective against specific pathogens
- Your innate immune system tries to contain an infection. if it can’t be contained we adapt the immune system occurs. Dendritic cells break down the microbes presented on naïve t cells which proliferates to effect the cells.
- They also signal b cells from to produce specific antibodies
