TAKEOFF ILS (CAT 1) FINAL APP, V/S or TRK FPA CIRCLING AFTER GO AROUND
TAKEOFF = 100 ft or 5s after lift off ILS (CAT 1) = 160 ft FINAL APP, V/S or TRK FPA = 250 ft CIRCLING = 500 ft AFTER GO AROUND = 100 ft
NAVIGATIONAL PERFORMANCE
WITH AP ON I AP OFF/FD ON I ALL OFF ENROUTE TERMINAL APPROACH
WITH AP ON I AP OFF/FD ON I ALL OFF
ENROUTE 1 NM I 1 NM I 1.1 NM
TERMINAL 0.5 NM I 0.51 NM I 0.51 NM
APPROACH 0.3 NM I 0.3 NM I 0.3 NM
USE OF NAV MODE
AFTER TAKEOFF / IN TERMINAL AREA
After takeoff:
As long as GPS PRIMARY or both pilots checked FMGS takeoff updating
Terminal area:
GPS AVAIL
RNP checked or enter in MCDU and HIGH accuracy displayed or
FMS nav crosschecked with Navaid RAW DATA
APPROACH BASED ON RADIO NAVAIDS
Can be performed in NAV, APP NAV, FINAL APP with AP or FD
If GPS PRIMARY AVAIL, reference navaid may be U/S, or airborne radio equip may be inop or not installed provided that ops approval is obtained
If GPS PRIMARY NOT AVAIL, all radio equipment must be serviceable, tuned and monitored during approach
When can RNAV APPROACH be performed?
RNAV (RNP) and RNAV (GNSS)
RNAV (RNP)
If GPS PRIMARY N/A then ACCURACY HIGH for corresponding RNP value and ops approval obtained
RNAV (GNSS)
Only performed with GPS PRIMARY
