-After the Pope dies his Fisherman ring is broken and there is 9 days of mouring.
-Someone who wants to become Pope must get at least 2/3 votes.
-If the smoke is black then they have not chosen a new Pope but if it is white they have.
-The dean of the college announces the new Pope from the balcony in St. Peters square.
What is a Conclave?
It is a meeting which is to vote for a new Pope.

It takes place in the Sistine chapel

A letter written by the Pope and sent to all Roman Catholic bishops, usually in order to make a statement about the official teachings of the Church.
