- To achieve/maintain a healthy weight, be physically active/choose amounts of nutritious foods/drink to meet energy needs

- Enjoy a wide variety of nutritious foods from five food groups every day
• Plenty veggies + legumes/beans; of different types/colours
• Fruit
• Grain foods, mainly wholegrain/high cereal fibre varieties
• Lean meats and poultry, fish, eggs, tofu, nuts/seeds, legumes/beans
• Milk, yogurt, cheese and/or alternatives, mostly reduced fat (but R.F not suitable for children under 2)

Limit intake foods containing sat fat (replace with foods containing mainly poly/monounsaturated fats), added salt, added sugars and alcohol (safest not to drink if planning pregnancy/breastfeeding).
