Federal Circuit Court
Does not deal with criminal matters, deals with the judicial review of administrative decisions; bankruptcy cases; family law
High Court
Interprets constitution; settles disputes between states, territories and the commonwealth; hears appeals from Supreme, Family and Federal Courts
District Court
Hears serious criminal cases (armed robbery, serious assault, fraud); civil matters over $150k and appeals from the Magistrates Court

Hears appeals from the District and Supreme Courts and tribunals; highest State court of appeal
