Augmentation - 1st Stage Delay

Refer to obstetric care
ARM recommended for all women
VE 2 hours later. If less than 2cm, obstetric r/v
Consider oxytocin following ARM or SROM. Multips should have a full assessment at this point.
Offer epidural before oxytocin
Increase oxytocin every 30 minutes until 4-5:10
VE after 4 hours, of less than 2cm for obstetric r/v and consider CS. If more than 2cm, advise 4 hourly VEs.
