four behaviours that can help recognise attachment
A
- proximity - people try to stay physically close to their attachment figure
- secure base behaviour - we tend to make regular contact with attachment figures. babies display this when they regularly return to their attachment figures while playing
- separation distress - showing signs of anxiety when an attachment figure leave their presence
- Joy on reunion - displays of happiness when reunited
