16
Q

who discovered neutrons?

A

James Chadwick

17
Q

How were the neutrons discovered?

A

if helium atoms weigh 4x what hydrogen atoms weigh, however helium atoms only have 2x the protons of hydrogen atoms… there has to be something else NEUTRON!

18
Q

How do we know when an atom is neutral?

A

When the number of protons in the atom equals the number of electrons in that atom.
