Q

How are positive and negative ions formed?

A

Q

What is the law of conservation of mass?

A

During a chemical reaction, matter cannot be created or destroyed. Even though the matter may change from one form to another, the same number of atoms exists before and after the change takes place.

Q

What is the difference between an open and closed system?

A

In an open system, there is exchange of matter and energy with surroundings. In a closed system, no matter can enter/leave the system; only heat energy is transferred.
