Revenge of Pearl Harbour, which was attacked without warning. Worried Japan wouldn’t surrender and that more would have dies if America invaded Japan. American prisoners of war were treated horribly.

‘Jus in bello’ the rules governing the conduct of war state that the casualties inflicted and the methods used must be proportionate to the one actully being used. Admiral William D. Leahy said it would be worring to about future warfare. Brigadier General Carter Clarke said the Japanese were tests and that it did need to be dropped.
