Measure Vital Signs and Levels of Consciousness

• GCS <14
• SBP <90 mm Hg (SBP <110 may represent shock after age 65)
• RR <10 or >29 (<20 in infants <1 year) or need for ventilatory support

If YES: Transport to trauma center

Question 2

When should falls be transferred to trauma center

Answer 2

Adults >20 feet or 6 meters (2 stories)

Children >10 feet or 3 meters (2-3 x height of child)
