How is a student admitted to the LEAD Scholars program?
Both transfer and first year students who are first generation are notified of the program; students first indicate interest, then are selected with their application to SCU.
What is the academic commitment for the LEAD Scholars program?
4 classes (CTW and 2-unit LEAD classes).
What additional perks are available for LEAD Scholars?
Early move-in; mentoring from older students; priority registration; free tickets to on-campus speakers.
How is a student admitted to the Honors Program?
Either with application to SCU or with application after freshman year.
What is the academic commitment for the Honors Program?
10 total honors classes over 4 years, independent research projects during senior year, must maintain 3.3 GPA, must attend 2 honors events (pizza party, service hours, speaker).
