Additional Checks for failure in cruise

(Stop before Feathering and trouble shoot)
Fuel - selector/pump/contents/pressure
Mixture - through range
Oil - temps and pressures
Switches - Cycle Mags
Throttle - Through Range

Changes if E/F happens on downwind
A
If before BOUMFISH, do not lower landing gear as part of checks

Changes if E/F happens on Base
A
Raise flap but do not raise gear

Changes if E/F happens after commital height
A
- Do nothing other than power and rudder and land

Changes if E/F happens on takeoff
A
- Full Power - lots of yaw
- Watch decaying airpseed
- Lower nose if necessary

Asymmetric Go-around
A
- Never below commital height
- Pitch Up / Power Up
- Feed in rudder to counteract yaw
- Flap up / Gear Up
- Flap up instantly, not gradually
- Target 88kt (Vyse)
