It is the rate at which a body rotates or revolves.
What is a period?
It is the time it takes for an object to complete one full orbit.
What is the definition for revolve?
It is to move around another object.

Moving around an axis of something.
What is the definition for sidereal?
It is the period of time it takes for a planet to complete one full rotation.
What is the definition of a solar day?
It is the time required for a planet (celestial body) to return the same place relative to the sun.

It is the period it takes to complete one full revolution around the sun.

Growth in size of something such as the water level.
What is Spring Tide?
Spring tide is when the moon is directly across from the sun and it cause the tide accretions to vary greatly.
