To treat acute asthma
A
SABA two treatments, 20 minutes apart of 2-6 puffs by MDI or Neubulizer for an hour.
If severe-O2 to >90%
Oral systemic corticosteroids

PEF> 70 percent usually handled at home
PEF 40-69 office visit or ED
PEF <40 requires ED/likely hospitalization
