What is the primary sector?
Produces raw material
What is the secondary sector?
Manufacture and produces raw materials into products.
What is the tertiary sector?
Provides services such as retail, transport, banking, healthcare
What are goods?
Things that are produced
Tangible or physical product (you can touch it)
What are services?
And act being preformed by a person. Something intangible (can’t be touched)
What are representative and professional bodies?
Like membership organisations
Professional bodies that set standards
Many are charities
What are regulatory bodies?
•provide the regulations that govern the animal care sector.
• ensure the law is followed and standards set are me
What are competitors?
• different companies who are trying to sell similar goods or services to
the same people.
What are customers?
a person or business that buys goods or services from another business
What are aims organisations.
A business aim is the overall target or goal of the business, whereas business objectives are the steps a business needs to take to meet its overall aims. A business may have several different objectives that will help it to meet its aim.
What are the roles of an organisation?
The aims set out the role of the business – how they will meet their aims.
