Inspection
looking carefully and thoroughly at client. (i.e., rashes, bumps, bruising, wounds, smell, shape of chest etc.)

ultrasound device that uses waves to provide sounds assists with auscultation
examination of body using fingers (not fingertips) and hands to determine texture, location, size, and consistency of organs, masses, or infiltration of parts of the body and feeling the heart or pulse beat, or vibrations in the chest
palpation
testing for sensation
soft end (cotton tip) and sharp end (wooden stick)
striking or tapping a body part used as a diagnostic technique by listening to the sound produced
