Q

optokinetic nystagmus

A

done using optokinetic drum
observe eye movements
smooth pursuit in the direction of the stripes followed by a quick saccade back to the starting position.

Observe the response in both directions, noting any asymmetry or abnormalities in the eye movement pattern.

if strabismus present ,lack of bsv disrupts this process and makes it asymmetrical
