What criteria must be met before anything else?
B, C and D criteria
What is B Criteria
The individual is at least age 18 years.
What is C criteria
There is evidence of Conduct Disorder with onset before age 15.
What is D criteria?
The occurrence of anti-social behaviour is not exclusively during the cause of schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder.
What is Conduct Disorder (CD)?
Characterised by rule-breaking aggressive behaviour and oppositional-defiant behaviour.
How many of the other criteria are there and how many must be met for diagnosis?
3/7 must be met.
What is the pneumonic for ASPD?
3 Fierce Dogs Ignore Intruders Racing Cats Lazily.
What is Criteria 1?
Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviours as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest.
What is Criteria 2?
Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure.
What is Criteria 3?
Impulsivity or failure to plan ahead.
What is Criteria 4?
Irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults.
What is Criteria 5?
Reckless disregard for safety of self or others.
What is Criteria 6?
Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behaviour or honour financial obligations.
What is Criteria 7?
Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalising having hurt, mistreated or stolen from another.
