Densely vs. Sparsely populated
Densely populated is when a lot of people live in one area while sparsely populated is when not a lot of people live in an area.

Government is a system that sets up and enforces a society’s laws and institatioins

A direct democracy is when all of the people debate/discuss/vote on all of the issues

A representative democracy is when the people vote on a person that best represents their beliefs
What is a dictatorship
A dictatorship is when there is one person that decides everything that happens in the system they rule and when everyone makes the same amount of money except the dictator and his close inner circle. In a dictator ship everyone in that system is isolated from the other parts of the world

A dictator loves himself, gives false hope and promises, charming, power hungry, manipulative, psychopaths, keeps wealth and resources to himself and his inner circle, and is always protected by the military

The 3 ways a dictator an get into power are by being born into it, coup, and elected democratically (dismiss the government)

A coup is when someone overthrows a leader

The DMZ is the 150 mile long by 2.5 mile wide zone separating the 2 Korea’s by the 38th parallel

Some factors that influence settlement is climate and land forms
