why is it important for christian’s?
it marks the end of the presence of jesus on earth in a physical way, but his sorority lives on on earth
what are the different views of ascension
some christian’s believe that jesus literally rose up to heaven while others believe that it is symbolic, showing his time on earth was over
what happened? (both views)
- he appeared to the disciples and groups of others
- after a period of time the gospels recorded that jesus rose up to his father in heaven
