What is the Marbury vs. Madison case
Jefferson added new federalist judges into the court last minute. (Midnight judges) marbury was one of the judges who “got” the job, but wasnt allowed in becuase he got the job so late. The judiciary act of 1789 gave the Supreme Court original jurisdiction. Even though the judges agreed with marbury, they had to make him wrong becuase the judiciary act of 1789 was unconstitutional. Madison won.
