three scenes:
- opens with two duets
- group then unties and manipulates the dismantled wheelchair
- re enact family scenes then dave goes to solo song
aural setting in artificial things
futuristic atmosphere - piano to create a cold, ambient sound. elements of song “the sunshine of your smile”
costume in artificial things
designed by anna jones - wash of green and blue, merging with the backdrop. looks as if paint of running from garments which is reference to being stuck in the painting
lighting in artificial things
designed by chahine yavrovan- most of dance the light focuses on one or two spots, opens out in the middle with a blue wash and warm and cool side lighting before closing down to one spot again for solo
