Due to patient motion & equipment motion, it lessens the detail or sharpness of the radiograph
Motion Blur

Light Leak Artifact
This type of artifact is due to broken cassette, warped cassette, and air trapping
Poor F/S Contact
This type of artifact is caused due to using a single film in two exposure
Double Exposure Artifactct
This artifact is caused by improper px instruction
Foreign Body Artifact
This artifact is caused by an inverted cassette, the back cover is in contact w/ the Px

How does grid problems artifact occur?
Off-level

Moire or Zebra artifact cause?
Two grids in single exposure
This is due to dirty roller marks and improper position of rollers
Roller Marks
How does Entrance Roller Mark Artifact happen?
Wet-pressure sensitization
Caused by insufficient chemical condition
Chemical Fog
Occurs every 3.14 intervals & due to dirty rollers
