Cite
verb; to quote (a passage. book, article etc,) as support or proof of an argument; to give credit to the source. “ when i was rewriting my informational essay, i cited all the information.”
direct quotation
noun phrase; when you copy the quote word for word; use exact wording in your writing. “ while writing my essay, i used direct quotes so my teacher knew exactly who and what they were saying.”
punctuation
noun; the marks in a piece of writing that makes its meaning.
Ex; You’re going to the party! (happy, excited)
