What is the electoral college and why was it created.
The electoral colege is a system of how the president gets electrd. Each states combines the number of represnetitives and senators together and that is the number of electors for that state. Washington dc has its own electors.
1) They didnt want a canidate with one side of the country to win
2) to protect the us from an ill-infromed populace
3) Framers wanted to have a state vote

You need 270 of 538 to win
