Quatrefoil
An ornamental element compsed of four lobes radiating from the common center.
Pictorial space
Arragenment of space on the picture plane.
Tympanum
A semi circle space above the doors of a cathedral. Important and elabarate sculptural decaration are often earned into the Tympanum.
Hierarchial scaling
Figures in the higher hierarchy who are larger then the less important figures.
For Exapmle: Celestial beings are the largest, then humans, than anmimals.
