Q

what is demin and remin?

A

demin - calcium and phosphorus lost from tooth

Q

Aim of MID? (minimal intervention dentistry)

A

preserve max amt of tooth structure to maintain strength/integrity

if both enamel and dentine can be remin?

Q

What are the principles of ART? (5)

A
  • Hand excavation of caries and cavity preparation
  • Minimal removal of tooth structure
  • Incomplete caries removal
  • AgFl application in some cases
  • GIC or IRM applied as restorative material
