God fashioned humans in His image and separated them from the rest of creation- they had peace and harmony with God. They were to be fruitful and multiple to expand God’s reign. There was only one prohibition- do not eat from the tree of the knowledge good and evil
The King’s judgement (Adam and Eve)
Humanity’s fall to sin. Adam and Eve disobeyed God and rebelled against His reign in their desire to be like God. This caused them to fear the presence ad faced the punishment of God. This shows that God will accomplish His purpose through His people as he judges them
the King’s judgement (Noah)
Noah found favor with God.
God communed with Noah and blessed him initially through sparing his family from the judgement of the flood and gave them the command to be fruitful and multiple
The King’s Judgement (Babel)
the people settled in one area so that they were not spread out and they built a tower so that they would be known. they were saying to God that He was not king and that his rule was not wanted or needed.
So God judged them by confusing their speech and dispersing them to show them He really is King
The King’s Judgement (Abraham)
God promised to employ Abram and his family to bring his blessings to the world. God chose them because they were the least of people and this would show his power as king. through a vision God warned Abram that he would die like the animals if he didn’t keep his promise.
