Arrest Warrant
a writ ordering the arrest of a named person.
Capias
an order to appear before a judge or magistrate, or the writ containing it.
Summons
a legal document authorizing a police officer or other official to enter and search premises

Good Faith Exception
Suspicion based around something that isn’t quite probably cause, but enough to make one a little suspicious.
Mere Suspicion
if based on all of the facts and circumstances of the situation, a reasonable police officer would have the same suspicion
Reasonable Suspicion
the standard by which police authorities have reason to obtain a warrant for the arrest of a suspected criminal or the issuing of a search warrant.
Probable Cause
one type of evidentiary standard used in a burden of proof analysis.
Preponderance of Evidence
the legal burden of proof required to affirm a conviction in a criminal case
