Tylenol (acetaminophen)
-dosage: 325-650 mg, 2 PO every 8 hours

Mobic (meloxicam)
-dosage: 15mg 1 by mouth once a day

Medication for moderate to severe pain

A

OTFC (fentanyl lollipop) 800mcg lozenge

Morphine 5mg IV slow push, reassess in 10 min, repeat dose every 10 if needed up to 30mg. (Monitor for respiratory depression and have 10mg naloxone and 25mg phenergan on hand)

Ketamine 50mg IM, 20mg slow IV push, repeat every 30min as needed for IM repeat every 29 min as needed for IV
(Sedation: 1mg/1kg patients body weight monitor and dose as needed to keep sedation)

TXA (tranexamix acid)

Dosage

A

2gm in 100ml normal saline or LRs ASAP but no later than 3 hours after injury. Administer over 10 minutes.

Begin second infusion of 2gm TXA after initial fluid resuscitation has been completed.

4mg orally dissolving tablet every 8 hours as needed for nausea and vomiting. Don’t give more than 8
