The ADRE’s three main divisions are:
Auditing: In an audit, the ADRE will check to see if a broker is in compliance with the A.R.S. and A.A.C. Auditing staff will review things like signage and license display, employee files, accounting practices, the policy and procedure manual, the delegation of authority, record keeping, etc.
Enforcement and Compliance: This division reviews and processes alleged violations of Arizona license law. They will refer some matters to hearings, negotiate settlement of others, and enforce compliance with their ordered terms.
Investigations: This division conducts investigations in response to consumer complaints about licensees. They can also conduct investigations into licensing and education issues.
In addition, there are development, education, and licensing divisions within the ADRE.
