Theists believe that miracles prove that there is a force working beyond the laws of nature
Why do Christians believe that miracles exist?
They believe in miracles because there is examples,es of these in the Bible and in the story telling of those who claim such experiences

A Theist might conclude βI have experienced an incredible event which has gone against the laws of nature and therefore there must be a Godβ

They believe that any event which has occurred can be explained naturally
Why do Atheists find it hard to believe in miracles?
They find it hard because of all the evil and suffering in the world. They also do not find it hard to believe that such a minority can have such experiences when so many in the world donβt experience anything miraculous
