Examples that could potentially happen but have not actually happened.
Hypothetical Evidence
Evidence that is vague or too broad
General Evidence
Evidence that has some concrete details but is still somewhat imprecise
Somewhat Specific Evidence
Evidence that contains detailed information to help the reader clearly understand the example
Specific Evidence
A reason or set of reasons given with the aim of persuading others that an action or idea is right or wrong
Arguement
an assertion/statement of the truth of something
Claim
to sate a fact or belief confidentaly
Assert
When one trys to argue both sides evenly, thus not asserting a clear position
Equivocate
Ones stance on an issue
Position
to contradict a position
challenge
to support a position
Defend
To set parameters for an arguement (Yes, but… or
no, but…)
Qualify
analysis that explains the significance of the evidence
Commentary
the opposing arguement
Counterarguement
A claim made to rebut (go against/refute/disprove) a previous claim
