Done by shore stowage and maintenance facilities to assess radiation levels in selected areas.

Performed annually in work area.
For Stowage magazines, every three years.

A
Duration: shift, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannually, annually, situationally. (All the time)

What areas will be surveyed per NNPP?
A
Reactor compartments/plant, CSCAs, temporary boundaries, RAM storage areas, designated radiation and high radiation areas, wether or not they are occupied. Other areas as deemed necessary by applicable instruction.
