a) Before the game the team has to run around the field twice. How far do they run?
b) The groundsman can water the ground at a rate of 100m2 per minute. How long will it take him to water the entire field?
a) Perimeter of field 460m
So they run 2 x 460 = 920m
b) Area of the field is 11200m2
Time to water is 11200 ÷ 100 = 112 minutes or 1 hour 52 minutes
